Explore the world of football (soccer) with these open educational resources created for the Football: More Than A Game MOOC. The money, the rivalries, the trends, the past, the present, the men’s game, the women’s game and the real issues. Whether you love it, hate it or try to ignore it, these videos go behind the scenes to examine why football is more than just a game.
From street soccer to multi-million dollar transfers, from the men’s game to the women’s, from the global to the local, from the beaches of Brazil to the fight against poverty, these OERs look beyond the pitch, to explore football’s role in society and possibly a community near you.

They then go onto discuss the future of football looking at a variety of influential factors. Including the role of technology and data in football, the next generation of fans and players, the evolving and changing market of football and the brand influence of players within the sport, digital technology including esports, and the ways in which fans consume content.
