Guide to Developing Enabling Policies for Digital and Open Teaching and Learning

Cover page of National Forum Policy GuideThe Irish National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education has published a new Guide to Developing Enabling Policies for Digital and Open Teaching and Learning, which features a case study about the University of Edinburgh’s OER Policy.  Other case studies include Maynooth University, Technological University Dublin, Limerick Institute of Technology, Dublin Business School, and Kwantlen Polytechnic University (Canada). 

The guide is designed to support the development of institutional policies for digital and open teaching and learning, including online, blended and face-to-face modes of learning. The short but informative guide includes an updated definition of enabling policies, a five-step guide to developing enabling policies, case studies and example policies from Irish and international higher education institutions, and additional resources.
