We’re huge fans of the Festival of Creative Learning as you can see by the number of events we’re running again this year. Book your place or register for the waiting list, there tend to be a lot of cancellations in the lead up to events at this time so it’s always worth putting your name down.
Create a Story Adventure Game with Twine
Using Twine, an open-source tool for telling interactive, nonlinear stories, be guided through the process of creating your very own story adventure game and embedding it with openly licensed images and audio visual materials.

Histropedia – the Timeline of Everything
Histropedia allows users to create visually dynamic timelines using structured data from Wikidata, articles from Wikipedia and images from Wikimedia Commons. In this workshop, we will learn how to use Histropedia by completing a sequence of practical exercises to find, combine and improve content.

Wikipedia Diversithon – celebrating diversity in science and Scottish history
The Diversithon is a Wikipedia editing event in a social and supportive setting to celebrate diversity in science and Scottish history for the Festival of Creative Learning and LGBT+ History Month 2019.
