Structural Geology 3D Models
Florian Fusseis, Senior Lecturer in Structural Geology, and Derek Leung, MScR GeoSciences Candidate, have collaborated with our uCreate Studio Maker Space to create a collection of 3D structural geology scan samples on Sketchfab.
This is a growing collection of scans of deformed rocks that is being used in our undergraduate course Structural Analysis of Rocks and Regions. The samples are chosen to highlight key elements of rock samples that have experienced deformation in a variety of ways and allow students to familiarise themselves with key descriptors.
