Wooclap – video tutorials

Wooclap

Wooclap is the University’s new, centrally supported electronic voting system for in-class polling and asynchronous activities

A new centrally supported, in-class electronic voting system is being made available at the University to replace Top Hat. Wooclap was the clear winner among four evaluated systems in a recent procurement exercise and will be the only centrally supported voting system from academic year 2023-24 onwards.

This channel is used to highlight any training and instructional videos related to Wooclap.

Wooclap is the University’s centrally supported electronic voting system used to poll, interact and engage with participants during a synchronous in-class, online or hybrid teaching activity or event.

Presenters can create events using a mixture of slides and a variety of question types. These events can then be presented to participants and their responses collected. Participants can take part on a desktop or mobile device using a web browser. Presenters will be able to choose if events are anonymous or if participants are identified.

Staff can also find additional support guidance on our Wooclap SharePoint site.
