Digital Education Futures: connecting research with teaching practices

This is a recording of a seminar showcasing the newly revitalised Digital Education Masters programme at the University of Edinburgh, and exploring how it connects with our world-leading research.
The event offered insights into how we integrate our research insights into a set of creative, dynamic teaching practices which set our programme apart. The MSc in Digital Education is one of the most long-standing and respected programmes in this area, and is a first choice for those wishing to do advanced study in digital education leadership, design, policy, research and practice.
The event offered a unique opportunity to engage with the team, be introduced to our set of innovative courses, and learn how our research enriches the learning experience of our students.
The event was part of the celebration of the programme’s 20th anniversary, and featured:
- Sian Bayne and Jen Ross discussing digital education futures
- Michael Gallagher and Rovincer Najjuma discussing digital education in the Global South
- Ben Williamson discussing datafication and AI in education
The event was chaired by Janja Komljenovic, the Digital Education MSc Programme Director.
