In this session Christopher Ward, National Operations Manager at Waverley Care, introduces HIV Informed – a new educational microsite designed to support Scotland’s health and social care workforce. Chris talks about why and how the resource was developed, what’s gone into creating it, and how people can use it in their work.

Waverley Care, in collaboration with Public Health Scotland, Scottish Government, NHS and people living with HIV, have developed a new educational microsite for Scotland. Launched on 1 December (World AIDS Day), HIV Informed provides up-to-date information on HIV treatment, prevention, care, stigma, and practical guidance for the Scottish health and social care workforce. The microsite utilises lived experience videos, downloadable resources and quizzes to reinforce learning.
