EuroGCT | Gene Horizons
In recent decades, editing our DNA to treat disease has gone from science fiction to a lifesaving reality. But how do gene therapies work, and what can we use them for?
Gene Horizons explores the science behind gene therapies, with the help of five leading researchers and clinicians in the field. With unique, stop-motion animations by Cameron Duguid, the science of gene therapy comes to life on-screen.
This 18-minute video is ideal for a general audience and biology students aged 16+. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 965241.
