The OER Service runs a wide range of workshops and events as part of the University's Digital Skills programme. Summer Break
July 1 @ 8:00 am - August 16 @ 5:00 pm
Our digital skills programme will be taking a summer break for a few weeks from 1st July – 16 August. We’ll be back with a new programme of events, workshops and information sessions in the run up to the new semester. We’ll be starting back with a new block of Quick Start session beginning on 19 August. These convenient 30-minute sessions will give you a brief introduction to copyright & exceptions, Creative Commons, open educational resources (OER), and open textbooks. In the meantime, if you would like us to run a bespoke workshop for your staff or students over the summer, please contact open.ed@ed.ac.uk.
