Feminist Cities presents you with a podcast series called Flourish: Fighting for Feminist Cities. In this series, we conduct interviews with activists reimagining cities through a feminist lens and fighting urban violence with care, courage, and collective action.
In this first episode, our co-founder Dr. Roxana Pessoa Cavalcanti interviews two activists: Carolina Peterli is a PhD candidate in Interdisciplinary Studies on Women, Gender, and Feminism at PPGNEIM-UFBA (Graduate Program in Interdisciplinary Studies on Women, Gender and Feminism at the  Federal University of Bahia) and is a member of the World March for Women.

Yasmin Curzi is a practicing lawyer and postdoctoral research fellow at UVA’s Digital Technology for Democracy Lab with an interest in human rights law, digital law, gender studies, and digital sociology. She also coordinates the “Digital Media and Conflict Prevention” project (2023-25), funded by the European Union, as well as the Dynamic Coalition on Platform Responsibility at the UN Internet Governance Forum.

Tune in for more of their inspiring perspectives informed by their diverse backgrounds and hard work in various cities around the world.
