GIDEON, the world’s largest infectious disease database, has, over the last decades, risen up to meet this demand and assist clinicians, researchers and healthcare decision makers with a vast trove of communicable disease data, presented in an intuitive format, ready-made for front-line scientists.
In our current day and age, access to curated, trustworthy and actionable clinical data has never been more important. The ability to navigate Big Data, diverse health statistic sets and historical disease information has become one of the core skills needed for researchers if they are to make sense of the massive ocean of health data available digitally and create meaningful, actionable and accurate output.
In this session, we will give a broad overview of our platform, our data and the capabilities we offer, highlighting its usefulness for the creation of engaging and powerful dissertation work.
