Learning for a Sustainable Future: Live at COP28

Lorna Slater, Minister for Green Skills, Circular Economy and Biodiversity, Scottish Government

What on Earth could be more important than understanding and taking action on the big issues that shape our world? Climate change, gender equality, health, social equity and inclusion are issues that affect us all, wherever we live, and impact on human wellbeing and economic stability.

This two-week online course ran live during the UN COP28 Climate Conference in Dubai in November/December 2023 to highlight news, events and activities as the conference unfolded. The course content explores the broader context of COP28 and invites you to consider other key frameworks such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

These videos are free, open resources originally created for the short course, Learning for a Sustainable Future: Live at COP28 on Coursera. If the course is not currently running, you can still work through the resources in your own time using the videos in this channel.
