Boardgames are a great pastime during the winter months, but have you ever played against a robot? Professor Sethu Vijayakumar, from Robotics Research at the University of Edinburgh School of Informatics, shows us their Connect 4 robot.

Professor Vijayakumar explains that the Connect 4 robot is a great example of an AI sensing, perception, and action complete loop. It has a camera for eyes, the computer figures out the best move, and the robotic arm carries out the action.
